International cooperation is based on the signed bilateral and multilateral agreements.
International cooperation in the field of criminal procedure and investigations is regulated by the Art. 592-598, esp. Art.594 and Art.587 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
International cooperation in its extradition part is partly based on Art.599-609 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Art.4 of the Criminal Implementation Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
