In July 2017, the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) launched a migrant integration via sport platform. The platform will facilitate the sharing of expertise and good practices between relevant stakeholders, at international, national and local level, such as government authorities, the sports movement and NGOs. Its aim is to provide its users with useful and practical information; it will include otherwise isolated projects and facilitate their promotion.
The initiative for the platform was taken at EPAS’s last annual conference, which was held in Vienna in June 2016 and which focused on “Newly arrived migrants and their integration via sport”.
