On 29 September 2020, the Councıl of Europe Programme on Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) will launch a national version of the Online course on Refugee and Migrant Children in Ankara, Turkey. The course is launched for social workers at the courthouses under the Department of Training of the Turkish Ministry of Justice. The free online course is aimed at helping legal professionals to improve their knowledge and skills on the existing European and international standards in this area, their relevance in the Turkish legal context, and how to apply them in their daily work. The training addresses challenges during the judicial process related to vulnerable groups such as children, women, the elders, refugee and migrant children. Following the launching event, some 113 participants will attend the online course.
