The objective of the training of trainers is to create a pool of youth educators to address issues of local democracy and human rights at local level. Their future activities will in turn contribute to building capacities of young people in Georgia, raising their awareness on their rights and freedoms and motivating them to be more engaged in local decision-making.
The training of trainers will equip participants with comprehensive understanding of the relationship between human rights and local democracy, enhance their soft skills and transversal capacities to carry out educational activities with youth, and provide them with the necessary methodological tools to develop tailored training curricula for youth in Georgia.
All interested candidates should submit the fully filled application form, together with a Curriculum Vitae (CV), in English language, to the email address: Georgia.localgov@coe.int with the subject: Youth Training of Trainers Application Form.
The deadline to submit the applications is 29 September 2023, 23:59 CET.
For the detailed information please see the Call for Applications document.
The training of trainers is an initial step within a series of activities targeted at developing the capacities of young local leaders in Georgia, and is organised as part of the project “Strengthening Participatory Democracy and Human Rights at Local Level in Georgia”, implemented within the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023 with the financial contribution of the Austrian Development Cooperation.
