On 2 and 3 February 2024, a workshop was organised on European good practices relating to judicial inspection and CEPEJ tools on judicial statistics for the Independent Inspector's office at the High Council of Justice in Georgia.
On this occasion, topics such as the role of judicial inspection, processing complaints, and misconduct, and the significance of basing inspection reports on proper collection of judicial data were addressed. The President of the European Network of Independent Inspectors (RESIJ) presided by Romania, presented the mandate, the objectives and functioning of the network.
This event is part of the European Union and the Council of Europe joint programme “Partnership for Good Governance”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe, in the framework of the project “Support to modernisation of court management in Georgia”.
