On 13-15 July 2016 a training session on “Adult Training Methodology” was organized jointly by the Council of Europe (CoE) and the Public Defender’s Office in Georgia. The training’s purpose was to familiarize PDO personnel with the principles of adult education, identification of learning styles, presentation and implementation of different training methods, preparation of assignments for participants, elaboration of a training agenda, evaluation of training and assessment of impact of training.
PDO staff had thus an opportunity to enhance knowledge of practical application of adult learning principles and strengthen their capacity to deliver training courses for various target groups within the Human Rights Academy of the PDO.
The training was conducted within the framework of the project “Improving the operational Capacities of the Public Defender’s Office of Georgia” funded by the CoE Human Rights Trust Fund.
