The Council of Europe and the European Union, in cooperation with General Prosecutor’s Office, organised a workshop to frame further support for improved implementation of evidence-based criminal policy. At the workshop, participants discussed challenges related to data collection and processing and conducting thematic surveys to analyze the impact of implemented criminal policy. Hence, specific follow-up steps were agreed to provide further institutional assistance.
This workshop is part of the European Union and Council of Europe joint programme “Partnership for Good Governance”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe, in the framework of the project “Strengthening independence and professionalism of justice in Georgia”.
