Retour Georgian delegation discusses judicial training in the Netherlands

Between 21 and 23 October 2014, a delegation comprising the representatives of the High School of Justice (HSoJ), the High Council of Justice (HCoJ) and the Supreme Court of Georgia visited the Dutch Training and Study Centre for the Judiciary - Studiecentrum Rechtspleging (SSR) in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The aim of the visit was to facilitate building of international cooperation with the Dutch Centre and to provide the participants a closer insight into the experiences of the SSR, learn about its structure, mission and working procedures, ways of elaboration of initial and in-service training curricula, modern court management techniques and tools and other related issues.

The study visit was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe project “Developing the capacity of the High School of Justice of Georgia” financed by a voluntary contribution by the Government of the Netherlands.
