In the framework of the Council of Europe and European Union Joint Programme “Strengthening the capacity of lawyers and human rights defenders for domestic application of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and of the Revised European Social Charter (RESC)”, a regional project underway in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Russian Federation and Ukraine, the Council of Europe is organizing a workshop on the Revised European Social Charter and the mechanism to monitor its application in Georgia.

Alessandro Savaris, Deputy Head of the Council of Europe Office in Tbilisi and Eva Pastrana, Program Manager at European Union Delegation in Georgia will address the participants at the opening session.

Licenced lawyers, and representatives of trade unions and NGOs working on social rights are invited for the workshop, which will be held by the skilled International Council of Europe experts.
