Aim
The aim of the study session is to empower participants, young youth workers, to address conflict, political polarisation, societal challenges within their communities, while fostering dialogue and promoting peacebuilding efforts using the tool of human rights education.
Objectives
- Facilitate mutual learning among participants to understand the role of youth work in addressing conflict, political polarization, and societal challenges, empowering youth workers to engage in constructive dialogue with young people affected by conflict and navigate complex issues effectively.
- Develop and test innovative methodologies of human rights education to enhance peacebuilding efforts and foster trust among underrepresented communities affected by conflict, enhance peacebuilding efforts and promote common understanding among diverse communities.
- Empower participants to act as multipliers within their communities, actively promoting peacebuilding initiatives and sharing best practices in conflict resolution
- Provide targeted support and resources to youth workers and young people from countries experience conflict, fostering dialogue and collaboration for durable solutions and promotion of peace globally.
