The annual Europe Day Festival took place in the centre of Budapest on Sunday 12 May.
Celebrating 15 years of Hungarian membership in the European Union, the festival provided an entire day’s worth of programmes: concerts, sports events, children’s activities and dozens of exhibitors, including the European Youth Centre Budapest’s Living Library, welcomed visitors at Liberty Square.
The EYCB’s tent hosted nearly 300 guests during the day, most of whom took part in discussion with our Living Books, played with our quizzes or browsed information material on the work of the centre and of the Council of Europe.
