Natalia Kobylarz

Natalia Kobylarz works a senior lawyer at the Registry of the ECtHR and teaches human rights at the University of Grenoble Alpes. In 2016 she was seconded to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights as adviser on the European human rights jurisprudence. Her areas of expertise are human rights law and environmental law. She is the author of the article entitled: The European Court of Human Rights, and Underrated Forum for Environmental Litigation” published in the European Environmental Law Forum Series, Volume 5, 2018.

Natalia Kobylarz holds a Master 2 degree in Environmental Law from the Strasbourg University in France, an LL.M. degree in International and Comparative Law from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, United States, and a Master of Law degree from the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin, Poland.

She is the founder of the “Work Green” staff initiative, which aims at making the Council of Europe an environment-friendly workplace.
