Roma hosts the 3rd Civic Collaboration Day and the RomaSudfEst

The tour will start at 9.00am from the Acquedotti Park in the Don Bosco quarter and pass by Torre Spaccata, Tor Sapienza, Centocelle and Alessandrino. In each quarter activities and events involving various local actors will invite participants to discover new areas and public spaces, fostering civic collaboration and positively feeding the public debate on local territories.

At 10.30am in the gardens near the Rugantino Public Library in the Torre Spaccata quarter, children from the Laboratorio, together with Environmental Architecture Master’s Degree students of La Sapienza University, will propose a horticulture workshop, exposing the third satellite of the #ortoLuiss.

At 3.00pm in the Centocelle Park, children activities on sustainable mobility will be organised and members of the Centocelle Public Park will lead “heritage walk” (as defined by the Faro Convention Framework) to discover the cultural and archaeological heritage of the quarter.

To conclude the day, participants will be invited to sing and dance to the music of the RomaSudfEst concert, at the FusoLab in the Centocelle quarter.

Una passeggiata patrimoniale alla riscoperta di alcuni luoghi simbolo del patrimonio archeologico-culturale dei quartieri Alessandrino, Torre Spaccata e Centocelle, che insieme formano quello che abbiamo definito "Co-Distretto", un'area caratterizzata da uno dei più bassi indici di human development a Roma e nel contempo ricca di attori civici con progettualità attive di cura del patrimonio culturale che saranno presenti in ogni tappa per illustrarne storia e stato dell’arte.
