The Congress has published two new language versions, Romanian and Spanish, of the booklet “How to make your town a better place”.
This learning tool is aimed at raising children’s awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, and encourage their participation in implementing the SDGs in their own towns and cities. The target audience is 6- to 11-years-old.
This child-friendly booklet was produced by the Congress in collaboration with an advisory group of children, together with the experts Michelle Templeton and Stina Haikkilä, and the children and local authorities of Beverwijk (Netherlands), Castel Maggiore (Italy), Chesterfield (United Kingdom), Lutsk (Ukraine), Metz (France), Niš (Serbia) and Poltava (Ukraine). The booklet is accompanied by guidelines for local and regional authorities.
