On 3-4 December 2018, the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR) co-organised, in partnership with the Luxembourg Agency for Cultural Action and Creative Europe Desk Luxembourg, a conference entitled “Heritage For Future”.

Opened by Mrs Snezana Samardic-Markovic, Director General of Democracy at the Council of Europe, by Ambassador Christian Biever, President of the EICR, by Mr Guy Arendt, State Secretary for Culture in Luxembourg, and by Mr Michel Magnier, Director for Culture & Creativity at DG EAC (European Commission), the meeting focused on sustainable funding for culture and local and regional development in Europe.
