6° Forum Consultivo Annuale sugli Itinerari Culturali

L’espansione degli Itinerari Culturali del Consiglio d'Europa: sfide e opportunità
Il sesto Forum Consultivo Annuale è stato organizzato congiuntamente dall'Accordo Parziale Allargato sugli Itinerari Culturali del Consiglio d'Europa (APA), dal Ministero della Cultura della Repubblica di Lituania e dal Dipartimento dei Beni Culturali del Ministero della Cultura e dall'Istituto Europeo degli Itinerari Culturali in Lussemburgo.
Il sesto Forum Consultivo Annuale ha esaminato la recente espansione del Programma, evidenziandone sia le sfide che le opportunità. I temi principali dei due giorni di seminari e dibattiti interattivi sono stati "L'espansione della copertura geografica e il lancio di nuovi partenariati" e "Lo sviluppo di nuovi temi e pratiche" per gli Itinerari Culturali del Programma del Consiglio d'Europa. Il Forum ha discusso tendenze e sfide relative agli Itinerari Culturali, fornendo una piattaforma per la condivisione di esperienze, l’analisi dei progressi e delle pratiche professionali, l'avvio di nuove iniziative e lo sviluppo di partenariati in tutta Europa e oltre.
Una cerimonia di premiazione per l’Itinerario delle Città Fortificate della Grande Regione, il 32° Itinerario Culturale del Consiglio d'Europa certificato nel 2016 e la firma di un Memorandum di Cooperazione tra il Consiglio d'Europa e l'Organizzazione Mondiale del Turismo (OMT) sono stati tra i momenti salienti dell'evento.
Le conclusioni del Forum, emerse dai dibattiti tenutisi durante i due seminari tematici, sono state integrate nella "Vilnius Roadmap", un documento che stabilì le linee guida per le attività future degli Itinerari Culturali del Programma del Consiglio d'Europa. Il loro follow-up è stato eseguito nel successo Forum Consultivo di Lucca (7° Forum Consultivo Annuale sugli Itinerari Culturali, Lucca, Italia, 27-29 settembre 2017), in occasione del 30° anniversario del Programma degli Itinerari Culturali del Consiglio d'Europa.
Il Forum Consultivo Annuale 2016 ha riunito oltre 200 partecipanti provenienti da oltre 30 paesi, rappresentanti degli Stati membri e Osservatori dell'Accordo Parziale Allargato sugli Itinerari Culturali, rappresentanti degli Itinerari Culturali certificati del Consiglio d'Europa, progetti candidati e Organizzazioni Internazionali (Unione Europea, OMT, ICOMOS), ONG, autorità locali e regionali, accademici e professionisti del settore del turismo culturale.

PARALLEL WORKSHOPS
The day will be divided in three sessions of two parallel workshops, which will be followed by networking coffee breaks/lunch:
Workshop 1 “Expanding geographic coverage and partnerships” will explore the work carried out by Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and new cultural route projects, to extend to new countries, cities and regions, further expanding the membership of their networks and association as well as reinforcing relationships with stakeholders and partners. It will also provide the opportunity for representatives of EPA Member States to present their experience at national level with a view to encouraging the expansion of existing cultural routes in their countries. A particular focus will be devoted to providing examples from the Baltic Region, Eastern Europe, South-East Europe and the Euro-Mediterranean region. Challenges and opportunities linked to these trends will be explored.
Workshop 2 “Developing new themes and topics” will explore new themes and topics subject to future development. Furthermore, Workshop 2 will explore the use by the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe of new practices in communication (especially social media and new technologies), reaching new audiences and developing innovative branding and marketing tools. New practices in promoting cultural routes’ sustainability and accessibility will be explored. The role of tourism operators and European networks interested in cultural tourism will also be presented through concrete examples.
