The Department of Social Rights of the Council of Europe is co-organising an event to mark the publication of a new book by Petros Stangos (former member of the European Committee of Social Rights) entitled "The Making of European Social Jurisprudence: Decisions on Collective Complaints by the European Committee of Social Rights" (original title “La fabrique de la jurisprudence sociale européenne: Les décisions sur les réclamations collectives du Comité européen des Droits sociaux").
This event is organised in collaboration with the University of Strasbourg, and aims to foster exchanges and discussions about the European Social Charter and the case law of the European Committee of Social Rights.
The event will take place on 14 May, 2024, from 17:00 to 19:00 (French local time) at the Council of Europe's Agora building, in Strasbourg.
The event will be conducted in English and French, with simultaneous interpretation and it will be livestreamed.
