In accordance with the decision of the Ministers’ Deputies adopted on 27 September 2022, concerning the new system for the presentation of reports under the European Social Charter, the European Committee of Social Rights and the Governmental Committee of the European Social Charter and the European Code of Social Security decided in 2023 to request an ad hoc report on the cost-of-living crisis to all State parties to the Charter.
The deadline for States Parties for the submission of these reports was the 31st of December 2023. These reports can be found on the European Social Charter web site under country profiles.
The European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) invites trade unions, employers’ organisations, non-governmental organisations, national human rights institutions and national equality bodies, and others to submit comments on the national reports by 30 June 2024.
Comments on national reports can be submitted to the Secretariat of the European Social Charter, in one of the official languages of the Council of europe (English or French), by email (social.charter@coe.int) or by mail at the following address:
Department of Social Rights
