The complaint Confédération générale du travail (CGT) and Confédération française de l'encadrement CGC (CFE-CGC) v. France, No. 149/2017, was registered on 4 April 2017. It relates to Articles 2 (the right to just conditions of work) and 4 (the right to a fair remuneration) of the Revised European Social Charter. The complainant trade union organisations allege that the new regulation on on-call periods and on conventions on annual working days implemented by Law 2016-1088 of 8 August 2016 constitute a violation of the above mentioned provisions of the Charter.
