The Intercultural Regions Network is organising its first Intercultural Regions Academy on 28-29 June. The event in June will function as a kick-off session in an online format to introduce the concept of interculturalism, enabling regional policymakers to acquire active understanding of intercultural integration as an approach to public policy in different fields, including intercultural competence.
The Academy will be practical in nature and present a mix of presentations, working groups and possibilities for participants to introduce ongoing projects from their regions. The Intercultural Regions Academy targets politicians, management, and technical staff in the member regions of the Intercultural Regions Network. Further, the Academy is planned to be followed up by additional events offering discussion and follow up on the implementation of the intercultural integration model in the member regions.
The Intercultural Regions Network and the Intercultural Regions Academy is run in partnership with the Assembly of European Regions and counts with eleven members across the continent.
