- Description
- The Grenouillère Museum enhances the memory of the place of leisure, culture and pleasure by presenting many paintings and objects linked to the cultural environment where Impressionism began. It is a souvenir of the famous floating café and dance-hall “La Grenouillère” (Croissy-sur-Seine) where Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir painted their first Impressionist paintings late summer 1869.
