The City of Rochester, Minnesota is excited to share in celebration with the rest of the Intercultural Cities around the Globe on World Day for Cultural Diversity. Rochester is a welcoming community that is striving to be inclusive for all people, and is rich in its number of multicultural residents.
The Rochester Downtown Alliance, schools, public library and community organizations provide opportunities for the community to get together, and for the various cultures to share their rich perspectives. From the annual ‘Walk around the World’ festival, to celebrations of Black History month, various religious commemorations and summer festivities, the City of Rochester comes alive in celebration of all its cultural diversity.
