The World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development is celebrated every year on 21 May. This year, ICC member cities and regions are invited to create a virtual journey to unlock the diversity in their cities and revive the senses in the joint campaign “Feel diversity – revive your senses”.

The aim of the campaign is to offer a feast for the senses through social media communication including images, video and audio files. 

There are many advantages to run joint campaigns together as a global network - the most important being the possibility of increasing cities’ visibility and occupy spaces which can be tricky to fill on one’s own. There are opportunities in joining forces and sharing the positive messages together in a structured way.

This joint communication campaign is the first in line of three joint campaigns the ICC will run with its members in 2021: World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development (21 May), World Refugee Day (20 June) and International Migrants Day (18 December).

The deadline to submit materials is 16 April 2021.
