On 15 June 2021, the Council of Europe, in co-operation with the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova (CEC) launched two electoral video spots for the Moldovan diaspora and voters residing on the left bank of Dniester River. The video spots aim to increase their knowledge about electoral processes in the Republic of Moldova and to motivate citizens with the right to vote to participate in the electoral process in the early Parliamentary elections on 11 July 2021 in the Republic of Moldova.
To a large extent, those two categories of the voters lack of details about electoral processes in the Republic of Moldova. The spots are in Romanian and Russian with Romanian, Russian and English subtitles, as well as interpretation into the sign language.
The spots are proposed to the national TV channels and posted online.
This activity is funded and implemented by the Council of Europe project Improving Electoral Practice in the Republic of Moldova, Phase II.
