The 3rd edition of the publication “Compasito: a Manual for Human Rights Education with Children” has been launched today at an event organised by the Youth Department of the Council of Europe in the context of the Hungarian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers at the European Youth Centre in Budapest. Compasito is the Council of Europe publication that seeks to develop in children the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes they need to participate in their society, knowing and protecting their rights and the rights of others. A fully revised and updated edition of Compasito has been published in 2021, and the event in Budapest today served to present it to the larger public.
Antje Rothemund, Head of Youth Department of the Council of Europe, as well as representatives of the Hungarian authorities, specialised agencies and researchers from Hungary, Iceland and Ireland took part in the event.
