The Strasbourg municipal cycle lane network provides access to the Council of Europe buildings. There are bicycle racks by the main entrance to the Palais de l'Europe.

Walking is definitely the healthiest way to get about, and causes the least pollution. The CoE buildings are located in a walkable environment.

From the A35 motorway, take the "Wacken" exit, then follow the signposts marked "Institutions Européennes". Go along Avenue Herrenschmidt, throught Place de Bordeaux, along Boulevard Ohmacht and Boulevard Jacques Preiss and up Allée de la Robertsau.
