- Description
- The Factory Museum - Manufaktura is devoted to the history of textile factories created by Izrael Poznański in the second half of the 19th century, a former self-sufficient district with its owner's residence, houses for workers, its own church and hospital. The exhibition presents also the long path of cotton from the plantation, through the factory, to the fabric store.
In 2003, the Apsys S.A. acquired the former industrial complex and created there one of the largest commercial centres in Poland (Manufaktura).
The Factory Museum - Manufaktura is an Anchor Point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
