- Description
- The Waldensian Cultural Center Foundation (est. 1989) was founded by the Waldensian Evangelical Church and the Waldensian Society for Studies. The Center deals with cultural promotion and local development; collaborates with Italian and foreign institutions for the understanding of the Protestant culture. Its Museum traces Waldensian history from its origins to the present day, while its Library is a reference point for the studies of Protestant theology, and Waldensian and evangelical history. The Office for Waldensian Routes welcomes visitors by organizing guided visits to museums, temples and historical site.
The Waldesian Cultural Centre Foundation is responsible at national level for the “Huguenot and Waldesian Trail”, certified Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
