On 4 July, an Information-sharing meeting was held in Istanbul, Turkey. Organized by the Culture Routes Society, the meeting brought together representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the Via Eurasia Management Committee, the Route of Aeneas working group and several tourism associations.

Mr. Onur Gözet, Deputy General Manager, Mrs. Kate Clow, Mrs. Elena Dubinina, Mr. Hüseyin Eryurt, members of Via Eurasia Management Committee, and Mrs. Elisa Falcini Becer, representative of Edremit Municipality, attended the meeting.

Member State of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes since 2018, Turkey is crossed by 5 of the 38 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: the European Route of Jewish Heritage, the Routes of the Olive Tree, European Route of Historic Thermal Towns, Iron curtain Trail and European Route of Industrial Heritage.
