In 2013, a Georgian high-level inter-ministerial commission on the Charter and Council of Europe experts prepared a draft instrument of ratification (see below). In addition, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia (2013-2015) contained the project “Civic Integration of National Minorities in Georgia and the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages” whose purpose it was to support the ratification and subsequent implementation of the treaty.
