Following urgent questions addressed to the Russian Federation on 2 June 2023 about children who have been unlawfully transferred or deported to the Russian Federation or to the areas temporarily controlled or occupied by it, yesterday, the Lanzarote Committee, adopted a statement deploring the lack of an appropriate response from the Russian Federation and urging it to co-operate fully in conformity with its obligations as a Party to the Lanzarote Convention.
