14.06.2011 - The website on the
mandate of Ms Marta Santos Pais, UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General
(SRSG) on violence against children is now online. The website aims to
promote and widely disseminate information on the current activities and
initiatives of the SRSG mandate, providing important resources such as SRSG
Reports, International and Regional instruments, and updates on news and
developments on violence prevention.
A special section of the website entitled “Children’s Corner” is
specifically targeted at children, and it includes child-friendly awareness-raising
material on children’s rights and violence prevention currently available
online.
