How all teachers can support citizenship and human rights education
– sets out the core competences needed to put democratic citizenship and
human rights into practice in the classroom, the school and in the community.
It is intended for all teachers – not only specialists but teachers in all
subject areas.
Fifteen competences are grouped into four clusters, each of which corresponds
to a chapter, in which the competences are detailed and exemplified. The
user will find progression grids and suggested developmental activities for
each competence.
