Children should know what rights they have and
should also know how to explore and use them . To achieve this schools should
allow for a wide range of learning experiences in children's rights
education. To encourage children to do so, the challenge for the teacher is
to create a setting that is governed by the spirit of democracy and human
rights .
Exploring children's rights is designed for teachers looking
for tools to teach human rights to primary school students. It includes 9
small projects with four lessons each.
