Study Visit Strasbourg -
Brussels - Leuven 26-30 October 2009

From 26 to 30 October, twenty
two participants from the beneficiary parties, had
the opportunity to participate in the Study Visit. The Study Visit was held
at the Council of Europe in
Strasbourg (26-27 October), the European Commission in Brussels (29 October)
and the Catholic University in Leuven (30 October).
During session in Strasbourg, participants received presentations on various
areas of work of the Council of Europe related to social security issues.
The session in Brussels was devoted to the presentation of the EU policies
and coordination schemes on social security. The session in Leuven dealt
with the Master in social security and presented a research programme on
irregular migration and illegal work.
