The National Institute of Magistracy of
Romania (NIM), in cooperation with the
Portuguese Judicial
Studies Centre (CEJ) and with the support of the Lisbon Network and
the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), organised the third
edition of THEMIS Competition, an international event especially
addressed to trainees of all European magistracy training institutions
and schools from 22 to 26 September in Bucharest (Romania). 17 teams
from 15 European countries participated in the competition. The 2
winners of the prize were : the team of the Czech Republic on
International Judicial Cooperation in Civil Matters and the team of
Romania on International Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters. The
price jointly financed by the Council of Europe and the European
Judicial Training Network (EJTN) will consist in traineeships at the
European Court of Human Rights and at the European Court of Justice for
the two winning teams.
