On 22 November, the Board of Directors of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR) held its meeting in Luxembourg, at the Cultural Centre of Neumünster Abbey.
Christian BIEVER, EICR President, as well as Representatives of the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes, the Council of Europe and the Secretariat of the European Institute of Cultural Routes attended the meeting.
On this occasion, participants discussed the activities carried out by the EICR in 2018, the 2019 calendar of activities, the Cultural Routes Evaluation Cycle 2018-2019, among other topics.
Mr. Matjaz GRUDEN, Director of Democratic Participation at the Council of Europe, participated in the meeting.
The European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR) is a technical agency set up in 1998 as part of a political agreement between the Council of Europe and the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg (Ministry of Culture, Higher Education and Research). It assists the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in the evaluation cycles of certified Cultural Routes and candidate networks to the "Cultural Route of the Council of Europe" certification.
