Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić has met the President of the Committee of Ministers, Iceland’s Foreign Minister Thórdís Kolbrún Reykfjörd Gylfadóttir at the Palais de l’Europe in Strasbourg. The meeting focused on the ongoing preparations for the Fourth Summit of the Heads of State and Government in Reykjavik (16-17 May), organised by the Icelandic Presidency of the Committee of Ministers.

 Marija Pejčinović Burić reiterated the importance of establishing a Register of Damage to record and document evidence and claims of damage, loss, or injury caused by the Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as her proposals relating to children affected by the war.
