Recent developments in the judicial field
- Supreme Court of Slovenia rewarded for an initiative entitled “Improving the quality of justice” (IQ Justice)
- Special mention at the Crystal Scales of Justice 2010 Prize for the initiative "Automated system for enforcement of authentic documents (COVL)", presented by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia
- In December 2005 the Joint State Project the elimination of court backlogs, the lukenda project (named after the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Lukenda v. Slovenia from 6 October 2005) was adopted. Goal of the Project is the elimination of the court backlogs in the courts and Prosecutor's Offices by 31 December 2010.
