organised by ECPAT and hosted by the Council of Europe

On 18 November 2016, ECPAT International convened a global forum for adult survivors of childhood sexual exploitation.

The landmark Global Survivors’ Forum  provided a platform and gave a stronger voice to survivors from around the globe.

In the lead-up to the Forum, there has been a process of national, sub-national and regional forums for survivors.

The process culminated in a Global Forum which consisted of a plenary session taking place at the Council of Europe Headquarters and a concurrent online discussion, bringing together the voices of survivors from around the world in a dialogue.
