A workshop on corruption-proofing models will be organised in Amman, on 5 October 2016.
An introductory session will focus on the objectives of corruption-proofing, as well as the main risks of corruption in drafting legislation. Through an overview of existing tools in the Jordanian procedural legal framework and a series of practical examples of corruption-proofing, the workshop will foster a debate with the Jordanian authorities on the development of a tailored corruption proofing model for Jordan.
Following the workshop, a proposal for a draft corruption-proofing model will be submitted to the Jordanian authorities for consideration.
