INJT’s 5th P2P webinar: criminal justice professionals discuss international cooperation in emergency situations

On 16 September, the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe (C-PROC) organised the 5th practitioner-to practitioner (P2P) webinar of the International Network of National Judicial Trainers (INJT), reuniting online about 70 criminal justice professionals worldwide.

The participants learnt from their peers from the Cybercrime Unit of the Prosecutors’ Office of Costa Rica about the possibilities for the expedited disclosure of stored computer data (including content data) on the basis of Article 9 the Second Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).

To deepen the discussions, a fictious case scenario was used as a basis for exchanging views on the current legal frameworks that can be applied to emergency situations and what can be expected once the Second Additional Protocol will come into effect.

The current series of P2P webinars will continue to be organised monthly until December 2024. If you would like to become a member of the Network or to attend the P2P webinars and you have not already registered, please fill in this registration form.
