United Kingdom’s Online Safety Bill sets out to tackle online child sexual exploitation and abuse

The UK’s Online Safety Bill, currently under parliamentary debate, provides for companies’ mandatory removal of online child sexual abuse material (CSAM), mandatory risk assessments and mandatory reporting of CSAM to the National Crime Agency.

The bill criminalizes offences such as communications that incite to harm, threatening and false communications and cyber-flashing, which impact children and teenagers especially.
