ECRI - Country monitoring in the Russian Federation (February 1996 - March 2022)

NOTE ON THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

In its Resolution Res(2022)2 of 16 March 2022, the Committee of Ministers decided that, in the context of the procedure launched under Article 8 of the Statute of the Council of Europe, the Russian Federation ceased to be a member of the Organisation as from 16 March 2022. As a result of this decision, ECRI no longer monitors racism and intolerance in the Russian Federation as from that date.
