4. Visibility
Grants obligations related to visibility and visual identity
- Obligation to communicate EYF Funding
Grant beneficiaries must take all necessary measures to publicise the fact that the project has received funding from the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe. Hence, organisations must use the EYF and Council of Europe logos and mention the financial support of the EYF on all communication material. This is important to reach out to relevant stakeholders and build new collaborations, but it is also a legal obligation under grant agreements. On social media posts, organisations must also mention that the project is supported by the EYF and use the hashtag #eyfcoe.
- Use of logos
Please use the original EYF logo in colour and place the Council of Europe logo on the right of the EYF. The ratio of the image should be kept and, if the size is adapted, the text should still be legible (for both EYF and the Council of Europe). If the logo is to be used in the footer/at the bottom of page, include acknowledgements/disclaimers on the bottom right-hand side. If the logo is to be used on top/header, include it on the top left-hand side.
- In line with Council of Europe values
Organisations must use these logos in a way that is in line with the Council of Europe values and in a manner that will not create any confusion regarding the ownership of the project as a project of the organisation. In case of doubt, please contact the EYF Secretariat. The EYF reserves the right to request organisations to remove the EYF and Council of Europe logos if these conditions are not met.
On publications and whenever relevant, organisations shall use the following disclaimer: “This document was produced by [Organisation] with the financial support of the European Youth Foundation of the council of Europe. The views expressed do not necessarily reflect the official position of the Council of Europe.”

The grantee organisations are requested to ensure the project visibility and the acknowledgement of the EYF support. For this purpose, please refer to the information below and/or request visibility items from the EYF for the implementation of the activities.
The items available are notebooks, pens, bags and EYF leaflets, translated also in numerous languages. The visibility items can be provided within available stocks.
Organisations may ask for these items for the participants of their projects, and the items will be sent by the EYF by post at zero cost for the grantee organisation.
The requests can be sent to the email: [email protected] and should include information about:
- the number of visibility items requested
- the type of visibility items (pen, leaflet, notepad or etc)
- complete postal address
- contact person
- phone number of the contact person
Number of visibility items can be calculated based on the number of participants per activity. For instance, one pen, one notebook and one leaflet can be attributed to one participant.
Please send requests on visibility items as soon as the need arises as the delivery might take some time.
