The Third Steering Committee of the project “Fight against Discrimination, Hate Crime and Hate Speech in Georgia” was held in Tbilisi on 30 September 2019.
The Committee members overviewed the results achieved and discussed the priority actions for the following six months.
The representatives of the Council of Europe together with the main partners – Parliament, government institutions, the Judiciary, and the Public Defender’s Office attended the meeting.
The event was organised as part of the Council of Europe co-operation project “Fighting Discrimination, Hate Crime and Hate Speech in Georgia”. The project is conducted with the support of the Danish Neighbourhood Programme in Georgia (DANEP) under the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Georgia.
