The results of the second round of project’s evaluation under the Council of Europe’s Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions have just been announced.

Further to the evaluations made by independent experts, the Council of Europe has decided to support 9 series co-productions for a total amount of €3 500 000. Of the 9 series co-productions projects supported during the session, women represent 42% of creators, 55% of writers and 40% of directors. Thirteen national, regional, or minority languages are used.

The Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions is a three-year initiative of the Council of Europe, home of Eurimages. It supports high-quality series made as international co-productions and aims to empower independent producers and foster new relationships.

The Council of Europe Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions is currently supported by Flemish Minister of Media, Le Ministère de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Ministry of Culture Estonia, Ministry of Culture of the Hellenic Republic, National Film Institute Hungary, Screen Ireland, Lithuanian Film Centre, Film Fund Luxembourg, Netherlands Film Fund, Ministry of Culture of North Macedonia, Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual - Portugal, Ministry of Culture of Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Culture of Slovak Republic, Ministry of Culture of Republic of Slovenia and Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA)- Spain.
