From 2-4 July, the Forum Alentours - Rendez-vous de la coproduction rhénane took place in Strasbourg. This annual event is dedicated to promoting cross-border cooperation, fostering the creation of joint projects, and strengthening connections between countries in the Rhine region.
During the panel "New Opportunities for European Co-productions", Clémentine Trolong-Bailly introduced the Council of Europe Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions. She provided a detailed overview of the programme's funding opportunities and requirements. The panel also featured Birte Klinge from the FFA (German Federal Film Board), contributing to a comprehensive discussion on the future of European co-productions.
The event underscored the importance of collaboration in the film and television industry, paving the way for innovative and diverse projects across borders.
