To enhance legal resources in Azerbaijan, four factsheets summarising the European Court of Human Rights’ (ECtHR) case law on Gender equality, Violence against women, Domestic violence and Reproductive rights have been translated into Azerbaijani.

These Factsheets provide concise summaries of the ECtHR’s arguments and are designed to serve as valuable digital resources for the work of judges, prosecutors, legal professionals, civil society, and academic institutions in combating violence against women and domestic violence.

The initiative is part of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Partnership for Good Governance”, co-funded by the EU and the Council of Europe under the project “Preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence in Azerbaijan”.
