Eurimages: Film Marketing and Audience Development Support
The aim of this programme is to promote innovative marketing solutions aimed at developing audiences for films supported by Eurimages under the Co-production Support Programme.
It is aimed at producers working in coordination with international sales agents, communication agencies and, where appropriate, distributors already involved in the project. Producers are therefore encouraged to develop and implement marketing and audience development strategies at an early stage of production in order to maximise the audience and distribution potential.
This programme seeks to support a maximum of 15 films per year, with a cap of €50,000 per film. This support is given in the form of a non-repayable grant. The aim is for this selection of films supported by Eurimages to be released in a larger number of territories and reach a wider audience in those territories.
To apply for support, the delegate producers of the films concerned must:
• have received the Eurimages co-production support notification letter (or have signed a support agreement),
• have signed a deal memo or a contract with an international sales agent, and
• not have already organised the first screening of the film in question at a festival or the first presentation at a market.
